Several of the attorneys of Gibbons | Neuman have been busy lately keeping the Tampa Bay community informed of important legal matters.

Attorney Elizabeth Allen met with families of Buddy Baseball, a local baseball league for children with special needs, on April 4th and discussed special needs planning including the topics of SSI, special needs trusts, and the ABLE Act.  She also conducted a webinar for the National Association of Legal Assistants and Paralegals on April which covered the unique issues of older clients with long term health problems and issues.

 

Attorney Beverly White conducts a free seminar each week on long term care and Medicaid planning.  The seminars are designed to give attendees basic knowledge of the Medicaid system and some “Dos and Don’ts” when it comes to that planning.  The location of the seminars vary and a full schedule can be found on the firm’s website here .
